Educational Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience  2. 3 years of experience in electronic circuit design/development in microcontroller-based mixed-signal and digital systems 3. Experience working with supplies for lithium-ion battery protection design and development  Preferred qualifications: 3 years of experience with Li-ion batteries Experience using EVKits impedance maters, Maccor, or Arbin battery  tester Experience in system integration of batteries with PMIC and charge IC Experience with simulation design tools such as MATLAB /Simulink pspice  Experience with coding for testing and data processing using Python C++ or Colab Experience and understanding of lithium-ion cells used in consumer electronics applications

Responsibilities:

1. Design the protection circuit module including schematic PCM layout and BOM for selection of specific components to meet requirements
2. Develop the engineering requirement specification for the batter pack and protection circuit module along with the custom IC parts for the best performance and cost
3. Drive design for manufacturing (DFM) with vendors during early design phase 
4. Validate the protection function 
5. Validate fuel gauge performance along with fine-tuning the models for accuracy
