Powergrid a Maharatna Public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Power Govt. of India is engaged in the power transmission business with the mandate for planning coordination supervision and  control over complete inter-state transmission systems and operation of national regional power grids

Powergrid requires eligible experienced personnel for its consultancy project comprehensive transmission and distribution T&D scheme in the same of Arunachal Pradesh under the Northeastern region the engagement shall be purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a period of 24 months initially or till completion of projects whichever is earlier the actual engagement may vary depending on requirement and status of projects

Other Benefits:

  1. HRA Will be paid as per HRA rules of Powergrid 
  2. Contract personnel will be entitled to reimbursement t of official mobile  call charges rentals as per the extant policy
  3. Contract personnel will be  covered under EPF and EPS MP Act 
  4. Contract personnel will be entitled to 12 days of casual leave 10 days of sick leave and 30 days earned leave in a year in addition
  5. Contract personnel will be entitled to medical benefits for themselves during the first year of engagement and for themselves and their family 
  6. Contract personnel will be covered under the group personal accident insurance scheme of the power grid
  7. Contract personnel will be eligible for PF
  8. Contract personnel will not be eligible for any allowances benefits PRP incentive other than those mentioned above

Important information:

  1. Candidates having registration in any of the employment exchanges of the seven states of  NET i.e. Arunachal Pradesh Assam
  2. Candidates are required to register themselves with the regional employment exchange as mentioned above before applying for the posts
  3. The engagement of personnel is purely temporary in nature and on a contract basis for a period of 24 months or till completion of the projects whichever is earlier the actual engagement may vary depending on the requirements and status of the project
  4. Candidates are required to register themselves with the National Skills registry 
  5. Field supervisor shall submit the police verification report/ employee verification report regarding character and antecedents from the police station of their permanent home address if for any reason they are not able to submit the aforesaid documents at the time of joining they shall be provisionally allowed to join on the basis of character certificate
  6. The personnel engaged will not be entitled to claim for any regular employment in Powegrid or any relaxation in case of any recruitment for regular posts 
  7. The contractual engagement will automatically be  terminated 
  8. The management reserves the right to cancel restrict enlarge modify, or alter the recruitment  selection process if the need so arises without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason after that the vacancies notified may vary and the operation of the panel will depend on the requirement 

Selection process:

  1. The  final merit will be drawn purely on the  basis of performance in written tests for field supervisors 
  2. The offer for contractual engagement shall be issued to the suitable candidates on the basis of merit and requirements
  3. Engagement of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness as per the company-prescribed standards
  4. Applicants should have sound health no relaxation in Powergrid medical norms is allowed 
  5. The decision of Powegrid regarding scrutiny of application and shortlisting shall be final and binding

General information and instruction:

  1. Only Indian nationals who have attained the age of 18 years or above and are registered in the employment exchanges of the seven states of NER 
  2. The candidature of the candidates at all stages of the selection process shall be provisional in natural
  3. Mere submission of an application does not guarantee the adequacy of candidature for being considered for the further selection process
  4. Before applying the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfils the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in this advertisement candidates not meet the specified criteria including experience profile
  5. Applications in which the essential qualification experience cannot be fully ascertained will be liable for rejection accordingly it is the responsibility of the candidate to satisfy that he/she meets the eligibility criteria
  6. All photocopies of documents submitted at the time of document certification if called for should be self-attested by the candidates candidates should retain  
  7. The candidates must possess qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory bodies like 
  8. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech/M.E etc with or without a diploma is not allowed for the post of field supervisors
  9. Correspondence course in  diploma shall not be considered as recognized qualification as per AICTE norms
  10. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the bachelor’s degree diploma shall be calculated based on the practice  followed by the university institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree
  11. In case the university institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks the equivalence would be established
  12. The no. of posts notified may vary and the operation of the panel will depend on the requirements
  13. The application fee is nonrefundable even if the candidature is rejected for any reason
  14. Applications should be submitted online mode only
  15. Training teaching period will not be counted as experience
  16. Candidates claiming reservation under OBC should belong 
  17. All computations of age and post-qualification experience etc. shall be as on the closing date of the online application
  18. In case of more than one online registration by the same candidates, the application against which the fee is deposited shall only be considered for further scrutiny in case more than one online application 
  19. Candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitment selection process without notice or if joined services are liable to be  terminated if any information provided by the candidates is not found in conformity with the eligibility criteria notified 
  20. Management reserved the right to raise or lower the qualifying standards at any stage of the selection process depending on the availability of a sufficient number of candidates
  21. Candidates are required to fill in their bank details such as bank A/C no. Bank name branch name IFSC code etc. 
  22. The contractual engagement will be regulated by company rules and administrative orders that may be enforced from time to time during the period of engagement 
  23. Complaints attributable to the incompatibility of the client systems’ ignorance of users’ availability of internet connectivity or any other aspects beyond the direct control of Powegrid employees or systems will not  be entertained
  24. No correspondence regarding this recruitment made in the complaints management system of Powegrid will be entertained
  25. Legal jurisdiction will be Shillong in case of any cause of dispute
