National AIDS & STD Control program” as Centrally Assisted state plan scheme is implemented by Telangana state AIDS Control Society ( TSACS) Through the 100% Government of India (Gol) funds received from national AIDS Control Organisation (NACO), GOl), New Delhi

TSACS is looking for professionals who look for a long-term association and take up this position to perform HIV.STD Counseling and HIV Testing across the state of Telangana on purely contract basis initially for a period of one year with monthly consolidated pay the applications should be open for flexible working time

TSACS Recruitment 2022 in Telangana  for ICTC Counselor 

Name of the post  ICTC Counselor 
Number of vacancies  16 posts 
Monthly salary  Rs. 13,000/- per month 
Upper age limit  60 years 
Educational qualification    post gauge degree /Diplomas in psychology /Social work.Sociology /Anthology.Human Development, Nursing with minimum 1-year experience after PG degree ./Diploma of working in the field of counseling in health sector preferably on HIV/AIDS or Graduate on Psychology.  social work.Sociology.Anthropology.Human Development/Nursing with minimum 3 years experience after graduation of working in the field of counseling in health sector preferably in HIV/AIDS  in case of those recruited from the community of people infected with or affected by HIV./AIDS the experience will be relaced to a minimum of one year of exercise in the field of HIV/AIDS other expertise required working knowledge of computer 
TOR 

1. Preventive and health education:

Ensure that each client is provided protest information .copuselling, post-test counseling and follow up counseling in a friendly atmosphere be available in the ICTC as pwr the specified timings ensure that strive confidentiality is maintained ensure that all IEC materials such as posters, etc. are displayed prominently in the communication side in the form of file bools and condom, etc. are alive in that, etc.

2. Psychosocial support:

Provided psychosocial support to help HIV/AIDS  ad its consequences ensure that the extended family of the HIV how to deal with HIV positive conduct weekly visits after obtaining consent to the homes of HIV positive clients facing a severe crisis

3. Referrals and linkages:

Maintain effective coordination with the RCH and TB programs as well as with the antiretroviral therapy (ART) program and visit key persons in the facial rum by these programs once ion a fortnight so as to strengthen linkages and minimize loss of clients during referrals 

4. Supply and logistics:

Report to the ICTC manager on the adequacy of stocks of condoms and prophylactic nevirapine tablets and syrup available in the ICTC as well ads in the facility 

5. Monitoring :

Maintain counseling records and registers and prepare monthly reports  which are to be sent to the ICTC from within snd outside health care settings

  • Facilitate systematic referrals systems and follow up
  • Maintain all the records and reports including counseling recotf\ds 
  • Counselor is responsible for both Gynecology OPD and STI OPD and provides service to the optimum number of STI/RETI parents attending a large health facility 
  • Responsible for collecting and compiling reports from both gynecology and STI OPDs prepare and submit monthly STI format in consultation with the medical officer in charge 
  • Monitor the drug kit and condom consumption and place appropriate diet in consultation with, the medical officer in  charge 

ICTC Lab Technician job

Educational qualification 

Graduate in medical laboratory technology (*B.Sc) with a minimum 1-year exercise after graduation 

or Diploma in medical laboratory technology (DMLT) with a minimum of 2 years experience after diploma the service of existing LTs who do not hold a DMLT may comply if they have done a certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology and have more than 5 years expertise of working in the ICTC.PPTCT/ART Centre run under the national AIDAS Control proh\geamme other experience required working knowledge of computer

  • Undertake HIV Testing according to the standard laboratory to stood laboratory procedure 
  • Keep the facility neat and cleaned at al;l times 
  • Ensure that adequate stock of consumables and rapid HIV Diagnostic kits are available in the ICTC 
  • Keep a record of HIV test results as well as a stock of rapid HIV diagnostic kits and consumables
  • Ensure the maintenance of all laboratory equipment
  • Scrupulously follow internal and external quality assurance processes 
  • Follow university  safety precautions and strictly adhere to hospital water management guidelines
