The institute is in the process of opening an outpatient addiction treatment facility via a scheme under the ministry of social justice and empowerment (MoSJE), Government of Inda for establishing addiction treatment Facilities (ATFS) in Government hospitals /health care settings the scheme will be coordinated and impounded at the national level by the national drug Dependence Treatment Centre (NDDTC) All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)
