Note:

1. The age of  candidates will be determined on the basis of date of birth as recorded  in their matriculation certificates
2. The crucial date for determination of the age limit for the post of ASI (Steno) and HCMin) shall be 6th September 2022
3. The prescribed format of certificate for reserved categories is attached as annexure – B for SC/ST Annexure – C go EWS and annex – D for the OBC category
4. A person seeking an appointment on the basis of reservation to OBC/EWS must ensure that he/she possesses the caste /community certificate the crucial date for this purpose will b the closing date or receipt of applications

Important Instruction to Candidates:

1. Before applying online application candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification skills (typing speed/shorthand speed), age physical standards, etc., and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for the post before applying BSF reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidates at any stage of the selection process if he/she is found not qualifying any of the prescribed eligibility criteria 
2. Candidates seeking reservation benefits for govt. servant /EWS/OBC/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen must ensure that they are entitled to such reservation as per eligibility prescribed in the notice they should also be in possession of the certificates in the format prescribed  government of India in support of their claim at the time of application
3. Central government servants claiming age relaxation should be in possession of a certificate in the prescribed format from their office in respect if the length of continuous service which should be not less than three years in the immediate period preceding the closing date for receipt of application
4. Qualifying the selection stages of the recruitment process does to confer any right to candidates for appointment final selection of candidates will be made purely on merit
5. Candidates to remember the login credentials i.e. USERNAME and PASSWORD after making one-time registration in order to sign in to their profile
6. Candidates are advised to carefully go through the instructions contained in the recruitment advertisement before filling up the application form request for change/correction in the application form shall not be entered under any circumstances hence the candidate are advised to exercise due diligence at the time of failing up of their online application forms
7. The department will not be responsible for any consequences arising cut off the wrong filing of the application form
8. Candidates to refrain themselves from filling in wrong information in their application form uploading a fake photograph of any other person/celebrity/ dignitaries or object or putting blank photos etc.., suitable action will be taken against such default candidates as per provisions under Cybercrime IT Act 2000
9. Candidates serving in Government /Semi-Government /Public sector undertakings should apply after obtaining NOC No. objection certificate (NOC) from their employer should be uploaded while submitting of application form
10. Candidates are required to upload relevant certificates in support of their claims they should ensure they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the tests if on verification at a later stage it is found that candidates do not fulfill any of the eligibility conditions/her candidature will be canceled by the recruitment board
11. The eligible recruitment board shall not be liable for any claim arising out of any injury etc suffered  during the tests the decision of the recruitment board shall be final in all matters connected with this recruitment 
12. The appointment will be subject to the condition that the candidates are medically as well as physically FIT the selected candidate will have to undergo basic recruit training at an of the training institution of BSF the services of those candidates who fail to complete the training successfully are liable to be terminated
13. Mobile calculators and other electronic gadgets are banned within the premises of the examination center
14. The posts carry all India service liability the selected candidates are liable to be posted here in the county as per the transfer policy of the force
15. The recruitment will be done on an India basis
16. Selected candidates will be governed by the BSF act and rules
17. On appointment, they shall be entitled to pension benefits as per the new recruitment defined contributory pension scheme applicable for the new entrains to the central government service w.e.f 
18. the candidates will have to make their own arrangements for stay during the course of appearing in the recruitment process
19. No TA/Da will be paid to any candidate for appearing in the recruitment process
20. An employee serving in the same rank and pat grade will not e entitled to apply for said posts
21. Candidates will not be considered for recruitment if found involved/convicted/arrested in any criminal case under IPC or any other Act of the controlled government or state government
22. In case a candidate is found eligible or suppresses facts on any ground after his/her selection /appointment his/her service will be terminated without assigning any reason
23. Candidates must carry at least one photo bearing identification proof to the examination venue for proving their identity failing which they shall not be allowed to appear for the examination/recruitment
