Job profile:

The senior research fellow will be responsible for:

1. Processing of sample received in the lab
2. Preparation of reports
3. Ensuring lab supplies for study work
4. Coordinate maintenance of the equipment log. calibration logs. ensuring the smooth functioning of equipment at the site by lab attendant
5. Maintain accurate records of lab study specific methods and processes
6. Coordinate with the field worker for transport of the sample

2. operational skills including focus and commitment to quality management and problem-solving
3. Influencing skills including negotiation and teamwork
4. Effective communication skills the provision of timely and accurate information to stakeholders
5. Ability to develop and implement clinical research monitoring plans, SOPs, database concepts, and formats
6. understanding of GCP regulations and guidelines
7. Excellent computer skills (Ms word, excel, internet)
8. Knowledge of adverse medical event investigation, analysis, reporting procedures, and standards 

Standard 12 and Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (3 years course) + Registration as “A” Grade Nurse .B.Sc (Nursing) / Nursing “A” certificate with 3 years experience in hospital /Nursing Assistant Class III and above from the Armed forces

Desirable qualification:

At least 1 year of experience in research projects work experience in research /newborn nursery /NICU

The study nurse (round the clock shift duties) will be responsible for:

1. Pre-screening of all mothers for eligibility
2. Taking consent from eligible mothers
3. Giving all information about the study to parents/ Guardians and exploring whether they are interested in participating in the study
4. Sample collection from mother before delivery (rectovaginal swabs and blood sample) Sample collection at the time of delivery (cord blood, cord tissue, vernix)
5. To fill CRF form for all enrolled mothers and neonates
6. To monitor the babies for the occurrence of sepsis
7. To collect blood samples urine, stool, oral and nasopharyngeal swabs in neonates with suspect sepsis
8. To collect breast milk samples from enrolled mothers in the postnatal; waeds
9. To follow all the neonates till discharge or 28 days of life whichever is the greatest
10. Muddy be able to evaluate the material snd work effectively with other researchers
11. Data collection
12. To coordinate with lab personnel to transport and process the sample from NICU to the NICU side lab and microbiology lab
13. Colle action of lab results and coordinating with RO for final labeling of sepsis
14. Coordinate with RO for smooth flow of CRFs.

M.Sc Microbiology At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in the area of management quality assurance and/or clinical operations of clinical trials/ research projects. GCP trained and experience of handling filed based studies will be preferred

THe Microbilogiacal research officer will be responsible for:

1. Overall coordination of study at the site
2. Supervision and coordination of research staff
3. Entire supplies ensure the smooth flow of CRFs.
4. Train the lab technicians in sample processing storage and recording in the CRF
5. Supervise and monitor sample processing storage and transport in the NICU side lad as well as in the microbiology labs collection processing ay clinical site and proper storage
6. process the culture sample and do AST as per the SOP
7. Take and process the environmental sample collections from the maternity wards birthing area and the NICU as per the SOP
8. Facilitating the ongoing QC activities 

Graduate in any discipline with 2 years of experience as a clinical data entry operator 

A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour through speed test on a computer

Skills:

1. Excellent reading comprehension and strong written as well as verbal communication skills including good command of English required

The data entry operator will be responsible for:

1. Entering data into the database management and maintaining effective record keeping data
2. Receiving case report forms (CRFs) from the clinical team
3. Maintain accountability of received  CRF pages
4. creating annotated CRFs
5. Performing accurate data entry into the database with high attention to timelines
6. Perform qualify check of the data and respond to the queries raised by the DM team

MBBS/BDS/Teaching experience after completing internship or Ph.D/ MD/MDS

Skills:

 The clinical research officer will be responsible for:

1. overall coordination of study at the site
2. Supervision and coordination of research staff
3. Ensures supplies ensure smooth flow of CRFs
4. Ensures data entry of research work
5. Training of nurse and other stuff as per the SOP for ongoing monitoring of sepsis, sample collection, and recording in the CRF
6. Monitoring the sample collection process by research nurses
7. Independently verify the findings of the research nurse and also the data entered in the CRF
8. Sample collection at the time of delivery n newborn blood, mothers sample, and at the time of suspicion of sepsis
9. To coordinate with site co-PI-PU for final labeling of culture-positive culture-negative and no sepsis
10. Supervision the study implementation at the site and ongoing QC activities 
11. Reviewing protocol deviations and loss to follow up to ensure quality data is delivered
12. Coordinating the data management progress with the DM team 

Standard 10 with 3 years experience in a laboratory doing clinical research 

or

Standard 12 with 1-year of experience in clinical fieldwork or in a laboratory doing clinical research

or

Degree/Diploma in MLT

or

Degree/Diploma in clinical research

Desirable qualification:

Experience in clinical research fieldwork communicating with participants making home visits for data collection /sample collection transport of samples 

Skills:

1. Basic knowledge and ability t conduct clinical lab-related monitoring 
2. Good written and verbal communication skills with an understanding of the local language and a basic understanding of English
3. The ability to read and write multiple  local languages will be preferred

The fieldworker will be responsible

1. To collect the sample from study sites and transport it to THSTI for biorepository and sites for analysis
2. Packing of the biological samples as per protocol/ SOPs 
3. Ensure optimal sample storage conditions at collection center/ packaging and dispatch
4. Communication with clinical and lab personnel for coordination of sample transport 

12th class pass with Science

Desirable qualification:

Experience in a medical laboratory

The lab attendant will be responsible to

1. Facilitate lab work with study staff 
2. Labeling scanning immediate processing and temporary storage of collected biospecimens
3. Manage the maintenance of equipment and stocking of necessary supplies
4. Ensuring cleanliness at the site, particularly where the lab related study activities will be performed
5. Maintaining the equipment load calibration logs ensures the smooth functioning of equipment at the site
6. Assisting the SRF in all study-related activities at the site
7. Maintaining the stock inventory at the site and reporting to SRF on a daily basis on the requirements for the site 

Educate to a graduation degree in any field with at least 4 years of experience in clinical data management

or 

Masters’ degree with at least 2 years of experience in clinical data management 

Desirable qualification:

Diploma in information technology /computer application
