UBI Recruitment Selection procedure:

1. The selection will be based on shortlisting cum interaction interviews merely fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not vest any right in candidates for being called for interview
2. The screening committee constituted by the bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter 
3. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final no correspondence will  be entertained in this regard
4. The list of the candidates shortlisted for interview subsequent selection  shall be published on the Banks website intimation
5. The final appointment will be based on the decision of the selection committee constituted for the purpose on the basis of personal interview interaction subject to fulfilling minimum qualifications and experience 
6. A personal interview shall be conducted to assess the academic job knowledge
7. Merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only in case of equal marks by two or more candidates merit order of such group of candidates will be on the basis of date of birth

General Instructions:

1. Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement  of the Bank
2. Candidates are advised to keep their e-mail id/ mobile phone number alive and active for receiving communication 
3. The bank takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt or loss of any communication
4. Candidates  belonging to reserved categories including those for whom no reservation has been mentioned are free to apply for vacancies announced for unreserved category
5. In case of selection, candidates will be required to produce proper discharge certificates from the employer at the time of taking up engagement
6. The applicant shall be liable for a civil criminal consequence in case the information submitted in his/her application is found to  be false at a later stage
7. Candidates are advised in their own interest to apply online well before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection 
8. The staff on contract shall not be entitled to any superannuation benefits 
9. Where only interview without any written test is the mode of recruitment merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview 
10. At the time interview the candidates will be required to provide details regarding criminal pending against him /her if any of the bank reserves
11. Candidates will have to appear in the selection process at their own expense
12. The bank reserves the right to alter modify or change the eligibility criteria and or any of the other terms and conditions spelled out in this notification
