DMRL invites applications for the position of fifteen ( 15) junior research fellows (JRFs) and one (01) research associate (RAs) applications are invited from candidates possessing the following qualification

General Conditions:
- The No. of JRF and Ra positions mentioned above is only indicative and may change at a later stage depending on the assessment of eligible applications received
- Eligible candidates shall \email the duly filled application form ( Annexure – I to III; check DRDO website. whats new) along with soft copies of self-attested degree certificates, GATe score card caste certificates, and other applicable proofs ( in a single pdf file, not exceeding 10 MB)
Selection process:
- Eligible candidates for JRF-interview (post coders JRF-1 and JRF -04 ) will be shortlisted based on valid scores and% of marks obtained in the minimum qualifying degree
- The GATe score should be valid on the date of application in the aforementioned subjects only
- Eligible candidates for RS-interview ( post Codes: RA – 1) will be shortlisted based on the utility of thesis/dissertation and/or prior work experience to DMR:s projects and the number of research papers in SCI journals
- Eligible candidates for JRF interviews ( post Cord: JRF – 2 and JRF – 3) will be shortlisted based on valid NET/ GATE score
- Candidates must submit the supporting document for converting CGPA/CPI to an equivalent % from the concerned university
- The list of shortlisted applicants will be comm located through e-Masil provided by the applicants the shortlisted candidates will be informed of the date time and particulars of the web-based / in-person interview via-e-mail the shortlisted candidates should confirm their attendance for the interview via email five days before the scheduled date
- Based on the online interview a panel of candidates for the anticipated vacancies will be drawn valid for a period of 1 year however employment doesn’t entitle any candidates to an offer of fellowship which is contingent upon the occurrence of vacancies during the year director, DMRL reserves the right to not select any candidates if suitable candidates are not available
- If selected the candidates will be required to produce certificates/proof in original for verification at the time of joining No TA/TD will be paid for joining if selected
- Fellowship emoluments: Rs. 31,000/- per month for JRF and Rs. 54,000/- for research associated with applicable H.R.A and medical facilities are applicable as per DRDO rules
- Only candidates who have completed the required course and were awarded a degree/provisional certificate are eligible to apply for JRF and Ra position
- The JRFD candidates may be allowed to register for part-time Ph.D. ( if selected) with any university/institution during the tenure of fellowship upon approval by direct DMRL
- Those who were already in JRF positions in any of the DRDO laboratories/centers earlier are not eligible to apply again
- candidates working in Govt/public sector undertaking/ autonomous bodies should produce a no-objection certificate (Annexure-II &III ) to attest to the interview
- The management of DMRL reserves the right to amend/refit/cancel/suspend the selection process at any time during the process without assigning any reason whatsoever the decision of the DMRL management shall be final in all aspects of the selection process and binding and no appeal of any kind shall be accepted/entertained/considered in this regard
