Educational Qualification

1. B.Sc (Hons,) in nursing from a recognized university or institute/regular course in B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university or institute /post basic B.Sc (Nursing) from a recognized university or institute

2. Registered as nurse or nurse and midwifery (RN or RN and RM) with the state nursing council 

or

Diploma in general nursing and midwifery from a recognized board or council

Experience: 

Six months experience in a minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification

Selection process:

The selection process for the above posts will include a skill test (qualifying in nature) and a written test the selection of the candidates shall be purely on a merit basis the merit list will be drawn on the basis of a written test

How to apply:

  1. Candidates should trad the instructions carefully before applying

All applicants must fulfil the eligibility condition for the post and the other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as of the last date of receipt of your applications they are advised of satisy before applying that they possess the essential qualification and/or experience laid down for the post as on the last date of receipt of the applications no enquiries with reference to eligibility will be entertained
  3. The candidates shall be required to mention their correct and active e-mail address and mobile number in their application form at a prescribed place as all the correspondence such as issuance of admit cards/call letters or any other information will be communicated through the email only
  4. Any updates with regard to this recruitment process shall be published on NIFT  
  5. Only female candidates are eligible for the post of Assistant Warden and Nurse
  6. Those candidates who are employed in Govt. /Semi Govt. /Autonomous bodies etc should send their applications through the proper channels including no objection certificate 
  7. Certificate in support  of experience should be given by appropriate authority clearly mentioning the period and nature of work done in that particular organisation/institution
  8. The concerned university/institution/department /competent authority while forwarding the application through proper channels shall certify that the applicant if selected will be relieved to take up the appointment within one month of the receipt of the officer of appointment
  9. Incomplete/ unsigned/illegible applications and applications received with to fee/photograph/self-attested copies of required certificates such as educational qualifications, caste /communication to the candidate no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard

Selection process:

  1. NIFT may constitute a screening-cum-shortlisting-committee which will screen all the applications received in response to this advertisement and shortlist the eligible candidates on the basis of qualification and experience etc. No correspondence will be entertained from the applicant either before or after the selection the decision of the institute shall be final
  2. The date and venue for the skill and written test will be intimated to the provisionally shortlisted candidates only
  3. The selection process for the above posts may include a skill test for the post which is qualifying in nature tier -II will consist of an objective type/ written examination it will comprise of basic English General Awareness Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Basic Arithmetic etc.,

General Conditions:

  1. The applicant must be a citizen of India
  2. The institute/NIFT reserves the right to increase r decrease the number of posts as per the requirement to withdraw advertised posts/modify under any category at any time without assigning any reasons to reject any or all the applications assigning any reasons thereof not to fill any or all posts advertised rectify any discrepancy in the grade pay, pay band etc. if found ay a later stage
  3. The institute reserves the right o cancel /postpone the recruitment process at any  stage without any prior notice and without assigning any reason thereof  the number of vacancies is subject to change
  4. All the above posts are to be filled up on regular basis with a probation period of 2 years as per NIFT statute if during the period of probation or any extension thereof as the case may be the appointing authority is of the opinion that the candidate is not fit for a regular appointment the appointing authority may terminate him/her from the service
  5. The Institute shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by the candidates at any time during their tenure of service in case it is detected that the documents submitted y the candidates are fake or the candidates have clandestine antecedents/background for which he/she has been convicted by any court and has suppressed the said information than his/her services will be  cancelled/services shall be terminated forthwith and appropriate action will be taken
  6. If at any stage during the selection process or after issuing an appointment letter it is found that there was any misrepresentation or false information submitted by a candidate or that the appointment has been obtained  based on false or incorrect information by any candidate they will be liable to disqualification from the selection process/removal form service
  7. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at  any stage even after issuing an appointment letter, the institute reserves the right to modify/ withdraw/cancel any communication made to or any appointment letter issued to the applicant
  8. Mere fulfiling of essential qualification and experience requirements would  not entail a candidate to be called for skill and written test all candidates are advised to visit our
  9. No TA/DA shall payable to any candidates for attending skill and written test
  10. In case of any dispute/ambiguity that may occur in the process of selecting the decision of NIFT shall be final
  11. NIFT will not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit in submission of the application within the specified time
  12. Wrong declarations/concealment of facts/ submission of false information or any other action contrary to law shall lead to cancellation of the candidature at any stage
  13. The selection shall be done against the vacancies considering the requirements of the institute and strictly as per the merit by following the reservation policy of Govt. of India
  14. The above posts are as per the centre govt. pay scales  and carry allowances like basic pay dearness allowance house rent allowance and transport allowance  as per the government of India norms
  15. Employment of the institute shall be governed by the rules and regulations of service conditions as notified by the institute from time to time
  16. Candidates are advised to satisfy  themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification/experience laid down for the post as per the advertisement
  17. Qualification experience age etc. will be taken into consideration as on the last date of submission of application no interim enquiries/correspondences/communications of any sort will be entered on this matter
  18. Reservation and relaxation will be as per the Govt. of India guidelines
  19. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease per requirement and at the sole discretion of NIFT
