Educational Qualification

Bachelors in a medical lab.technology (BMLT) or Diploma in a medical lab. technology (DMLT) with 2 years of experience 

Desrible qualification:

  1. Experience in immunochemistry
  2. Knowledge  of ELISA in site hybridization
  3. Basic knowledge of computers data entry, Excel, and PowerPoint 
 
  1. Perform immunoblots /immunofluorescence /ELISA in serum samples from immunological disorders ensuring quality control
  2. Processing of histological material cryosectioning of skin and brain tissues and immunohistochemistry 
  3. Microphotography
  4. Samples  collection identification storage and retrieval of samples as advised by the PI with accurate data entry of case
  5. Maintenance of log books and accounts preparation for indents
  6. Follow waste disposal procedures in compliance with hospital guidelines in coordination with other staff 
  7. Ensure  maintenance of equipment and keep the PI informed regarding the state of functioning periodically
