Other eligibility conditions:

  1. The candidates must be citizens of India
  2. He/She must be able t read write and speak Odia fluently and must have 
  3. passed middle school examination with Odia as a language subject or
  4. Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in the non-language subject or
  5. Passed in Odia as a language subject in the final examination for class VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the government of Odisha or the central government
  6. Passed a test in Odia in Middle English school standard conducted by the school and mass education department of the govt. of Odisha
  7. A candidate who has more than one spouse living or in the case of a women candidate if married to a person having one spouse living shall not be eligible for appearing in the examination unless the state government has exempted his/her case from operation of this limitation for any good and sufficient reasons
  8. The candidates must have a good moral character
  9. Candidates who fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria on the effective date may apply for the post

Selection procedure:

  1. candidates shall be shortlisted out of the candidates registered with OHPC on the basis of their GATE score only there will be no personal interview
  2. The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
  3. The offer of appointment shall be issued to the selected candidates on the basis of merit however the final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness as per the prescribed standard
  4. On selection, they shall be posted at any of the unit /project sites & officers of OHPC & its subsidiaries

General information & instruction:

  1. At present only online applications are invited from the candidates who are having valid GATE score – 2022 for the post of getting the shortlisted candidates on the basis of GATE Score 2022 only will be returned to finish a printout /hard copy of the online application form along with photocopies of all certificates & documents on a prescribed date for document verification which will be animated on a later date 
  2. Degree certificate caste certificate Odia test pass certificate discharge certificate of Ex-servicemen and identity card of physically handicapped persons must have been issued by the competent authority within the last date fixed for submission of online application form
  3. Candidates found guilty of seeking support for/her candidature by offering legal gratification or canvassing in any form or found indulging in any type of malpractice in course of the selection or otherwise, shall be in addition to rendering himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution be disqualified not only for the ongoing recruitment but also may be debarred permanently from any recruitment or selection to be conducted by OHPC
  4. Applications submitted to OHPC if found to be incomplete in any respect are liable for rejection no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard
  5. Mere applying for the post and fulfilled eligibility criteria in reference to the advertisement does not cover any right for an applicant to claim an appointment 
  6. Any dispute arising out of the ongoing recruitment shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the high court of Orissa
  7. OHPC management reserves the right to increase /decrease the vacancies as per the requirement of OHPC
  8. OHPC management reserves the right not to fill any or all the positions so advertised without assigning any reason thereof
  9. OHPC management reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process if need so arises without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thereof at any stage
